We are recruiting reliable and detail-driven Housekeepers for casual and temporary roles across schools, care homes, and contract catering sites. Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchens, dining areas, wash-up areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensuring cleanliness levels align with Compass Group standards and client expectations
- Following all health & safety, COSHH, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Safe and correct use of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment
- Supporting on-site teams to uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Skills / Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not essential — training is provided
- Experience in schools, care homes, or contract catering environments is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused with a high standard of personal presentation
- DBS check preferred, or willingness to obtain one prior to starting
- Working knowledge of basic health & safety and hygiene standards
